Christ Episcopal Church in Kennesaw started looking into a Path To Shine® program in January 2017. With a lot of enthusiasm from a parishioner (who happened to be a retired Head Start director!), volunteers signed up and took part in the various required training sessions. Children from Pitner Elementary have been getting to know the dedicated Mentors at PTS - Kennesaw over the years, as they meet Thursday after the school. A typical PTS session at Christ Episcopal Church includes snack, play-time, homework and reading support. If you are interested in helping this program contact Dona.
